Now, there’s a cafe with an almost-hidden entry in Malaysia which is inspired by the series. It’s located on the first floor above a shop lot.

The menu naturally includes many comfort food with Japanese taste. A simple warm meal of egg rice will comfort your stomach and even your heart too.

It’s actually just warm rice topped with soft boiled egg, seaweed, bonito flakes, and vegetarian meat floss. But hey, that’s what one would come here for, a yummy and satisfying comfort food.

Udon noodles and other rice bowls are also available. You also add on if you think the portion is small. On the other hand, why not order another different comfort food to try since the food is priced around RM10 and below?

After a lovely meal, try out their desserts and cakes too. From raspberry mousse cake to rum and raisin chocolate cake, you’re bound to find one which will end your meal on a highly satisfying note. On another note, you can try to order the jelly of the day as well.

Meanwhile, for those who need their drink, there are the coffees and teas to choose from. Fascinate your tastebud with coffee named in ways such as Dream (coffee ice cube, ice coffee, fresh milk, gula melaka, butter cookies). Or opt from the huge varieties of tea including rose tea and lavender tea if you aren’t a coffee drinker.

To conclude, check out the great ambience of the non-halal cafe. The decors by the owner are unique and bring out a nostalgic and comfortable atmosphere which is sure to put you at ease.
